Geopolitics is beyond Trump’s infantile mentality. When Mark Carney was elected Prime Minister of Canada I remember saying, this is a geopolitical game changer.
Carney’s background makes him a perfect fit for the chaotic world Trump is creating. He’s is a strategic economic thinker, he understands the benefit of forward thinking. His visit to China and closer ties to the EU are a clear indication that the U.S. is no longer the central focus of Canadian foreign policy.
Of course he is not looking for a fight with the U.S. What he’s looking for is a way to simply reduce reliance. He’s filling the gaping holes left behind by the global village idiot’s imbecilic foreign policy self inflicted wounds. Trump is simply helping to make Canada great with no effort required effort from Carney.
