Ever since Trump fooled America again when 90 million Americans sat on their hands deciding to go along with it, we’ve been asking ourselves the question, ‘Are we there yet? Have we reached a true. constitutional crisis?’
Bizarrely, we keep telling ourselves, ‘not quite, there is still hope’, while we look everywhere but ourselves for that hope. The time for politicians to save us is long gone. Establishment Democrats sold their soul to the cancer that’s eating us alive a long time ago.
Nobody is coming to save us, the people are on their own as Trump marches the world into a dystopian nightmare where ‘might is right’ and the weak fall at the feet of that might.

We have become the turkeys voting for Thanksgiving. We can stop this in a matter of weeks if we simply STOP SPENDING.
Forget about delusions of a general strike, nobody can afford to put their job on the line. But every single person who wants to stop this can simply stop pressing the ‘buy now’ button for everything other than the essentials.
America is a consumer driven economy and without your spending, that economy withers on the vine and with it this government. A 3-4% drop in consumer spending in such a fragile economy would bring the government to its knees in a matter of weeks.
Stop looking to politicians to save you, it’s time to step up, grasp the bull by the horns and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, because there is no magic bullet. Spend on just the essentials and do as much spending as you are able locally, with small independent businesses.
It’s time for once to come together for the common good, and the people who can really make this bite are the middle class. Because when Trump’s adventure ends, the middle-class are facing a fiscal extinction level threat if this madness is allowed to continue.
The transfer of wealth from the bottom and the middle to the top is out of control and the wealthy elite will not stop until they have squeezed every cent from those beneath them.
At what point do we accept that this is fight for survival and DO SOMETHING? Nobody can arrest you if you stop spending. It’s not even about stopping spending, it’s about deferring big ticket purchases until this fight is over. I wrote a whole article on it which I have linked below:
It’s time to take responsibility and wake up to the fact that once democracy is gone it’s NEVER coming back. I hate to be so blunt, but the truth can be brutal.
Once you have a president that is prepared to go to war and commit war crimes to construct a narrative to stay in power, there’s a BIG problem.
There will be another No Kings Day parade on 28th March, tragically it will just be another performative gesture to take photos and share a day out on social media. It won’t change a thing.
Is it useful therapy? Yes, we need to be around people to share our collective anger and frustration, it’s good for our soul, but that’s where it ends. It doesn’t pay the bills and it sure doesn’t affect a man prepared to go to war and kill thousands. Oh, and be in no doubt, he’d be more than prepared to do it to you too, to win this battle for the soul of America and global economic dominance.
We can talk about fighting back, we can pontificate on social media until the cows come home, but yet we can’t do a simple thing like keep our money in our pockets, explain that to me like I’m a child?
We have become slaves to inconvenience in a world in which we’re prepared to sacrifice our friends and neighbors if they are perceived to be an Impediment to our social progress. Economic disengagement is the most meaningful act we can participate in right now. They can’t arrest you or shoot you in the face for not pressing ‘buy now’.
It’s decision time I’m afraid. It’s up to you to decide if democracy and the rule of law matters, if you’re prepared to protect the future generations to come, this is a ‘’JUST SAY NO MOMENT.’ It’s time for a silent no cost war, a coup to save a nation from an incoming theocratic autocracy.
It requires no grand gestures, just a simple targeted act of sustained economic disengagement. It will keep more money in your pocket, while starving the elite of the fuel that fuels this tyranny.
