Good and brave patriots made the ultimate sacrifice to save us from fascism.

It's time to pay the tab and fight to protect their legacy, as a tyrant from within seeks to spit on their graves.

Tomorrow (or today, depending on when you are reading this), October 18th, will be a historic day in the history of protests in the United States.

Despite the administration working overtime to try and capture the narrative, the world is looking on in anticipation that voices from across the political spectrum will step out onto the streets to assert their opposition to a president attempting to rule as a king.

This has nothing to do with right and left; this is about right and wrong. The Speaker of the House, along with his irresponsible colleagues, have labelled it the ‘Hate America March’, throwing out a bunch of trigger words like Hamas supporters and ANTIFA terrorists.

The people who will be on the streets will be law-abiding Americans simply seeking to avail themselves of their First Amendment rights to peaceful assembly and right to freedom of expression.

Those with opposing views to the president are NOT enemies of the state; they are protectors of the right to oppose the actions of a man who appears to have little respect for the constitution or the rule of law, as he chooses not to govern, but to rule.

Presidents are not elected to serve those who voted for them; they are elected to serve ALL the American people. The No Kings Day protest represents millions of Americans who have become the unheard, the persecuted and the subjugated, as they are driven towards economic slavery.

Given the administration’s open aggression towards dissent, those attending should take careful precautions and be well prepared for the event. Can I point you to guidance from the organisers linked below? The resources are also available in Spanish.

Attendees need to have a plan and a contact network, along with options for legal assistance in the event that they are detained.

I would strongly advise you NOT to take your usual mobile phone to the event; if you can, take a cheap burner phone purely for use as a contact resource.

Chances are, those policing the event will have the capability to gain access to your mobile phone, and they will be using surveillance and facial recognition technology too, so don’t give them an opportunity to target you.

You mustn’t rise to the bait that agitators will use to chum the water during the event. It’s essential you ignore attempts to draw you into conflict, as this may then provide justification for an aggressive intervention by those policing the event.

You should also be prepared for the possibility that those policing the event may use tear gas and pepper spray, as well as other chemical irritants. I would strongly advise having a good pair of snug-fitting swimming goggles to protect your eyes. It’s also important to have bottled water with you, along with a saline solution if you can source it, as this is a big help with tear gas.

This is all about community and looking out for each other. You have to have each other’s backs.

Have a great day, treat this as a celebration of your right to protest. Take care, look after yourself and your fellow protesters. I may be on the other side of the Atlantic, but you will be in my thoughts throughout the day.
