I agree to a point. Money - yes, bad in the wrong hands - but it was "MONEY IN POLITICS" created by the cons (republicons), starting in the 70's - they started by "allowing" legal abortions and you can see it go down from the 60s (beginning with Nixon) downhill as the Koch bros. and their ilk, created the scheme of money in politics and in 2025 we are feeling close up and personal to a swift downhill creature in the white house, - now we MUST get money out of politics, to our detriment. I'm old - I won't be here forever and I don't want me loved ones suffering because 30% of this country sides with low life cons.
We, the people, still have the power of the purse. No one can control our spending, or lack of spending. When all else fails we can go on a spending strike until the business community stops supporting the Rat and the politicians who enable him.
Economic warfare is the only thing the oligarchs, the business community will understand and act on. I call it a Surreptitious General Strike. Go to work, do as little as possible. Stop spending money except on essentials. Quit feeding the corporate beast that supports the Rat.
I totally agree with you, and if trum psyco follows in the footsteps of his vladdy -daddy, he will take over our banking system, just like Putin which allowed him to steal billions from his own people. I suggest you also stash actual cash aside as well. But save, save, and save money as much as you possibly can, for the dam will break and this phoney balogna appearance and bogus claims of this so called "prosperity"bullshit won't be for the average American citizens, but only the top 10 % of this country
Economic disengagement is the key. I have completely cut all ties with Amazon with the exception of my kindle books from my local library (which of course I pay for with my taxes). But that's just one action, by one person, and I notice so many of us are still hooked into the next day delivery, supposed deals, etc. I think this idea of having more and more has been bred into us Americans, and it is sadly spreading across the globe as my friends in Scotland are being subjective to these deal days like Black Fridays, etc. On top of being stolen from by this administration, we will also be the ones bailing out all the vulnerable people and children who will be losing health care, food benefits, govt aid for natural disasters, etc. I have thought that maybe some of this will be good for us i.e. to learn to live with what we already have, which for many of us is too much. Maybe we can recalibrate away from the brainwashing that says we should keep supporting billionaires... and ultimately have a more equitable, humane society.
Putting out a broad appeal to individuals I don't think is a winning way. We'd need a coalition so when a directive went out millions of united people would get behind it.
