You’re not wrong.

And no, this isn’t “doomsday shit.” It’s pattern recognition. It’s what happens when you stop mistaking cruelty for coincidence.

What scares me isn’t that people are raising the alarm.

What scares me is how many people don’t want to hear it.

Because if they hear it, they’d have to care.

And if they care, they’d have to act.

And acting takes courage. Risk. Discomfort.

So instead, they call you dramatic. Accuse you of ruining their day.

As if democracy were a mood. As if the truth were impolite.

The rise of authoritarianism doesn’t come with theme music.

It comes with paperwork. Press conferences. Plausible deniability.

And yes, the spectacle of one man is distracting. But look closely.

It’s not just him.

It’s the network.

The donors.

The data.

The decades-long designs.

And the silence.

So no, you’re not a fear-monger.

You’re a witness.

And if that makes people uncomfortable—good.

Comfort is what got us here.

I’ve been thinking about the need for a coordinated economic boycott. Who would be the people to initiate it? Do we have any groups that are capable of such a huge endeavor? How do we keep the people who can not do it due to budgetary constraints safe?
