Everything you write is 100%TRUE!!! Of course there’s no concern or compassion for the bottom 20%, for those living in poverty or for the homeless. The top 10% don’t care nor do the obscenely rich. They think taxes are THEFT not the price of civilization as Oliver Wendell Holmes once said. It will take a well organized political revolution similar to the one that elected FDR along with massive Democratic majorities in Congress. Big money bought the DEMS and they betrayed unions and the poor. Clinton the WORST, he signed NAFTA and “welfare reform.” The super rich like Thiel and Musk call the shots. The GOP hates government programs and love Trump because he owns white working class. Millions of Americans will fight these odious MONSTERS!! Don’t ever give up.
Agree 100%. We are entering the stage of a police state led by an authoritarian regime. How we stop this before taking up arms is unknown. I wish a coordinated economic boycott would work, and I would participate in a heartbeat, but I have my doubts. Still, that and everything else must be tried. This is NOT A DRILL!

I fear with the passage of the criminal bill, people don't realize that Republicans just funded DT with his own personal army (Ice) which takes effect immediately. The health care cuts and food cuts take effect after the midterms. This was intentional. God help us!
The doomsday comments are based in the fear of knowing what you write is the truth, and combined with the weight of not feeling empowered to do anything about it.
We have bought a bill of goods as a population, money is good, the more the better. We instinctively respect those who acquire it, beyond all reason. Never equating the accumulation of money as a threat to freedom, rather, experiencing more fully to be free as a result of having money.
That's where the belief of unbridled accumulation fails. It's feedom for those who have money and oppression for those who don't. Combine that with arrogance, a superiority complex and the thin rails of narcissistic personality and whammy!! A Donald J Trump and those who cheer him on. All the while declaring socialism a threat to individual freedom and the "American" way of life.

I have been saying for months that an economic boycott is the only solution, in addition to massive peaceful protests that take place in front of GOVERNMENT buildings: federal, state and city. Anyone who believes at this point that all we have to do is vote in 2026 is truly living in a world that no longer exists in the United States.

The rise of the ultra wealthy, their tax avoidance and gift if governmental control by a money only mentality, lack of virtue and dedication to the American Experiment are all easy things to point out. But, with the likelihood of an educated populace, given honest reporting of facts (that used to be based in reality), having free and fair elections now minimal (overestimate), a carefully organized and led resistance is necessary. I am still waiting for leadership. Dedication to efficient government in a globalized world facing the existential crisis of climate change and the regrowth of tribalism is required, but who can raise their voice over the current, daily shifting depravity and greed? Can a resurrection of the American Experiment in the USA again serve as a beacon of light, if we can throw off the blanket of darkness that has been thrown over it? Without leadership we can’t even begin the journey.
I want to know when will the President be arrested for his crimes. Crimes against the Constitutions, crimes against the Geneva convention and crimes against humanity?
