I was a therapist for children - most were sexually abused by a trusted adult - usually a father or close male relative…. The damage done is beyond comprehension… Healing is slow and difficult… And more often than not, abuse is vigorously denied by the offender.
I was abused by a psychiatrist not sexually but by improper treatment overdose on medication 💊 gave me Thorazine for a minor problem. I feel like my dad failed to protect me. He’s gone now. He died in February of 2025. I kind of forgave him. I still had a fairly good relationship with him still. He lived to be 96. It happened when I was 19. My life was forever changed. I am 63 now.
As a young woman who has been SA'd, I appreciate your article and findings. I don't like the idea that someone "stole my innocence," rather that they exposed me to unprecedented evil. The idea of sexual innocence and purity culture has done more harm than words can tell because it suggests that my worth and soul are tied up in the idea the absence of abuse or lack of a specific type of experience, and that if someone exposes me to such a thing, especially against my will, then I have lost both my soul and my worth. The men who did these things to me will never have the last word and although I was exposed to unprecedented evil, my innocence is not tied up in their actions against me. I maintain my innocence. And am regaining my sense of self day by day. These men do not get to retain who I am because of what they did to me. If anything, they got it all wrong and showed their true colors. I think it's important to help victims come back to their true selves and stop encouraging this idea that identity is tied up in sexuality or giving power away to abusers. I know that your article wasn't meant to victim shame. I just automatically latch onto the word "innocence" when it's connected to the words stolen or abuse.

I too have been inflicted by the harm a sexual abus er can have on families . Sadly I've been so enticed into this whole situation , and because of the harm I have seen ...having had a gay uncle who abused my brother , then his very young 4-5yr old daughter was abused by his elderly neighbor who was a convicted abuser that his own family wouldn't interact with because he had actually abused his own young granddaughter. At that point my brother went ballistic and almost killed his neighbor. Everything surfaced but because it was my mom's favorite and closest brother ,she went into denial ...shunning my brother (her own son ). My uncle always flaunted his gaiety openly so we all knew he was. He always would show up to visit with a very young 18-20 ye old boy on his visits . My mom let them stay in my brothers room . I know now . It definitely happened . I've been very aware of predator lifestyles since a child but never thought about what my brothers abuse was . He did after reveling all this said he stayed quiet because my uncle said he'd harm me and my sister if he disclosed any info . So being very aware of this lifestyle .. knowing all my uncle's friends and their entire lifestyles , I saw it all . Also he was a famous chef ...hung out with Sally and Juanita from Sausalito in the 50s-60s-70s. They had a bordello on the ferry downtown Sausalito . My uncles friends were Liberace , Earl Bond , the SF crowd early when these groups were not closeted....and as a young girl the parties were fun , but I was lucky as I was so young I didnt see the damage underlying the entire situation . Many of those drunken parties were at my parents house so when I see pictures of Lumpy and Roy Cohen ,it's all been very obvious to me . What bothers me most about all of this is the not only the child abuse but deeper diving into the DNA and baby abuse at Zorro Ranch and then the pictures of the white room on Epstein island with the plumbing and wash station as well as a door attached to a floor with ocean waters access ...It says so much more about what was happening...then reading about the young autistic girl who spoke of her baby being taken for weird reasons ..she couldn't disclose except for talking in code about it .. this all disclosed something so much deeper than organ harvesting ......and the michocrondial elements these rich , famous , celebrities and the extreme lengths these sickos need for their youthful appearances and their wanting to buy longitivity . I was a laboratory technician from early 70s to 80s . I know our pathology Lab did certain testing for individuals for these studies . The fact that... that room ...a access to a underground easy to dispose of fluids and body parts ...the fact there were laboratory techs in those Epstein residences ....this all screams way more than just sexual predatory choices ...this screams way more than harvesting organs ...this connects Royalties, Princes , Rothschild, Leader of other countries ,the most powerful ogilarchs of our world and strangulation, murder , and disappearances of the most vulnerable on this earth .We know why our leader said "their aborting the babies after their born " don't we ?
