I really really appreciate your commentary and information.(I just wish I could believe it’s not true.)
It’s becoming painfully clear - or at least worth looking at-that the effort to tear down the post WWII alliances, norms and foundations has been in the works for a really long time. I’m recalling various parts of Bill Bryson’s “A Short History of Nearly Everything”, and the chapters on the post-war private sector policy shift to promoting consumerism in everything- land, water, natural resources etc., all in the name of profit over everything. That has infiltrated every aspect in ways many haven’t understood or thought about. We have a long road ahead to a very different future.
You are very kind Edie. I appreciate both your support and your observations. This situation cannot be sugar coated I’m afraid. My intention is simply to inform because I owe everyone enduring this that much at least.
I’m going to echo what Edie wrote, but dumbed down as I’m at a much more primitive level of understanding of economics. I plan to take a look at Bryson. And if you have any suggestions for other useful textbooks on the subject (trends in international finance, and the move to put all wealth at the top so the rest of us get to be farmed like cattle, it seems to me from my limited experience) I’d be grateful.
Our voices will most likely barely put a dent in it unless we are as single minded as they are and as unafraid as they are, and as united as they are, but can we be?
Combined with the Israel-Iran conflict, the US is at a terrifying crossroads. If Iran starts attacking American bases in retaliation for Israeli support as they have suggested, this administration will gleefully ram war powers down our throats and strip of us even more rights. Palantir will be of enormous assistance.
I fear that our populace has grown too far into complacency and their relative echo chambers. Are there enough of us paying attention? Are there enough of us willing to sacrifice for our democracy? I am not confident but still have hope.
I so appreciate your bringing this to our attention. I'm not an economist nor do I even like numbers but even i know you can't run the US economy like a small business or household budget. Our economy touches everyone worldwide. We're not an island of white people (thank God) though that seems to be part of Trump's goal (slavery, good for the economy?). I'm afraid at the point the puppet is so unpopular that he's a liability for his handlers (or when they just don't need him anymore) that it will be too late and the ones pulling the strings will have already taken over.
You've confirmed my every thought of the dystopian world we'll all be living in if this goes according to their plan, and isn't stopped by the rest of us. Truly terrifying.
Thank you for this in depth analysis. Trump is not smart enough to be driving this- it’s the puppeteers Theil, Yarvin,Musk and Vance. I also highly doubt congress understands any of what you write. Terrifying.

I totally agree. Mass protests can work but they have to be peaceful and at levels never seen before.
Working on that!
No Kings protests June 14
Where: Damn near everywhere

We’re already there.

Excellent Thank you!
Palantir is one of the biggest dangers to our world, as we know it.
