Unfortunately there are too many americans who don’t understand what’s going on or they just could t care less. But one day they will wake up and its going to be too late. He has been above the law too long; no judges were willing to abid the law what trump is concerned. I just can’t understand how come that a gangster can just go on with crimes and at the end even become a president of a nation. There must be something terribly wrong with americans system. And terribly wrong with the people who accept such a thing. He seems to have still half of americans on his side. What values have such people !? How far can he go ?? Why there is no resistance ? And the other half that voted for the democratic party, aren’t they very disappointed with the party they voted for ?! They seem to be paralysed . This party just evaporated. I feel horrified and mortified to see what’s going on. Charlie Chaplin had a parody on hitler playing with a globe … football like. I see the same game that this megalomaniac of trump behaving in the same way. It is so tragic that a deeply disturbed trump in a state of power psychosis is playing with all of us. There IS resistance! Americans are protesting all over the country and in the hundreds pf thousands. A former democratic presidential candidate and a nys rep drew a crowd of 34,000!! The mainstream media outlets are suppressing these protests. In addition, federal judges are slapping injunction after injunction on Trump's erroneous executive orders. But the most alarming evidence of resistance is that an historically republican congressional seat just flipped to democrat in a special election in PA and the same is about to happen in Florida with historically republican congressional seat-- the dem candidate is nearly 5 points in the polls. We ARE RESISTING!
American here—I was just protesting at a Tesla dealer with about 100 other folks. Resistance is happening but we need to do more. Many of us really despise Trump, but the Republicans…not just Trump…have been playing dirty for decades, and we have allowed our system to be weakened. For example, the games that the Senate played to get Trump to pick three Supreme Court justices during his term. Also, the redistricting of many states to make it almost impossible for Democrats to get a majority.
I can't blame it all on Republicans. People in general are ignorant of what goes on in politics, or they are believing disinformation online, another thing that Republicans are good at spreading. If we don't do anything to question their lies, that makes their job easier.
We are seeing a definite turn to authoritarian tactics here. I just hope we can turn the tide before more damage is done.
My biggest “struggle” besides the obvious truth revealed here is, is tRump really this ‘smart’ or has it been pre-planned and he’s agreed to close the deal? We already know his gift of grifting and there seems to be no way to stop it. Europe can be the heroes here and I hope smarter ppl are on the other side preparing to cut putin and rumps plans at the throat and guts of this evil beast.
You’re right. That’s the most likely case. Just like Project 2025, which he is following, he’s been given a roadmap and he’s on-board with the ideas! We all know he doesn’t read. Someone must have told him about the rare earth minerals (which he almost can’t pronounce…. ). And he can’t wait to get ahold of them for himself and his rich buddies. He’s not smart. Just greedy enough to make it happen, along with the assistance and full power of an executive branch and a military to back him up.
