Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You give an old man a sense of purpose

I don’t say it enough, but THANK YOU.

I came to Substack almost four months ago now, looking for a place to record my thoughts for future reference. As I said then, I didn’t arrive here a writer, I came here a graduate from the university of life, a man in his autumn years, who believes that the world doesn’t have to be the way it is.

Never did I think for one moment that in three short months my musings would attract almost 70,000 subscribers and that I would become part of a community of millions who share their thoughts with the world. It has proved a true inspiration and revelation to me.

What is even more impressive, is that people have been prepared to invest their hard earned money in supporting my work, in return for nothing more than free subscribers receive. It is testament to the fact that not everything has to be transactional and that good guys do exist and are willing to invest for the greater good. I believe that truth should never be behind a paywall. It is truly remarkable and humbling to me that people are so generous in their support for my genuine and sincere effort to provide a safe place for people to find the facts and share my passion for social justice.

I’m more than aware that Substack has become just another profit center for some. For the record, I don’t do this for the money, I do it because I believe that writing CAN have an impact and CAN build community and be a force for good. I look on the revenue generated as a trust fund to help defeat tyranny.

Because I answer to nobody, I never have to be fearful if my opinions line up with a prescribed position. As a retiree from decades of working for myself, I am blessed to be able to reinvest every cent of revenue from subscriptions back into my work here. It makes me feel good that someone can pay a subscription and that their investment in me is an investment in delivering the truth to those often drowning in disinformation, simply looking for respite from despair.

Above all, it helps fund my video production work that can be very costly when having to ensure content is fully licensed etc. I have just spent two weeks making a short film about Peter Thiel and his cabal of the Dark Enlightenment brigade that will drop this evening. I simply could not have done that without the help of my paid subscribers, so thank you to each and every one of you who have helped unleash my ability to contribute to this fight beyond just my writing, which I know still needs some work by the way.

This is going to be a long hard fight against tyranny and I believe my visual work can help reinforce the desperate need to keep TRUTH front and center in this battle to save the soul of America.

I have always believed only with collective purpose, can good people defeat a malign force attempting to hold the world hostage as they ransack the values and moral integrity that represent who we are.

I made this Ad last year because I believed we could deliver change. I was bitterly disappointed in the way Democrats managed the messaging to the American people that led to where we are today, but I believed then as I do today that we can do better, we can deliver hope and we can defeat this monster. But we can only do it with MUCH SMARTER MESSAGING. And I believe with your help we can do that together.
