Before we dig into my main topic of the day, it’s worth noting, as a subtext to my piece a couple of days ago on the real reason for Trump’s interest in Venezuela, the US is intensifying the pressure on Maduro. The explicit aim here is regime change. Trump wants to install a US puppet administration to primarily gain access to rare earth metals. Of course, Venezuelan oil reserves do play a part in his thinking, but oil is NOT the primary target; it’s just the gravy.
The new blockade on sanctioned oil tankers is just a further tightening of the noose around Maduro’s neck, and it seems clear that the performative made-for-TV deadly attacks on boats in the Caribbean, will continue to be used for outrage and misdirection purposes. Trump’s claims that the US wants its land and oil back are utterly preposterous.
His expansionist ambitions are targeted at easy wins. He’s using US military might to put South American nations on notice that the US is now king of that region, and failure to comply with US demands will result in severe consequences. The claim is, this is about drugs, yet all indications are that it goes much deeper than that. How odd that the whole campaign allegedly relates to fentanyl trafficking, but there is no carrier strike force in the South China Sea to address the source of the precursors supplied by the Chinese pharmaceutical industry to Mexican fentanyl labs. I wonder why that might be?
There’s no question that Venezuela serves as a critical gateway for drugs, primarily cocaine. It is then transported to the major international markets. Direct shipments go by sea from Venezuela to European ports (England, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, etc.). The country is NOT a transit point for fentanyl, so Trump’s claims that the boats the US are striking are carrying fentanyl (which he has bizarrely now classified as a weapon of mass destruction) are highly questionable. However, the absurdity of the claims is on par with the tall tales told by Satan’s mouthpiece, who Vanity Fair captured in a very unmasked moment.
The metaphorical moral decomposition is on full brutal, unedited, and untouched display in this telling image, and before I’m accused of being a misogynist, take a look at the two handsome moral corpses below.
The team photo will be the defining moment recorded in the history books of those complicit in a nation's moral decay. It will mark the collapse of public service and societal cohesion in this year of Our Lord 2025. These instruments of moral decay are attempting to define America as a Christian nationalist nation serving at the altar of greed and political division. It’s like an image from the racist finale of Political Succession—full marks go to the photographer Christopher Anderson for the ingenious image set.
Is this what you want your government to look like in 2028? If not, there’s a lot of work still to do, so I suggest you take the holidays to spend time with the ones you love and return to the battlefield fired up and ready to go in January.
As I said in my last piece, we must not be distracted by the last-gasp attempts of a failing regime to get us to look everywhere but where we should be looking. The arrogance and cruelty on display are, for me, very telling. After months of ICE brutality and lawless behaviour, the dehumanisation of the immigrant population has become normalised. Nothing shocks us anymore, which is a testament to the endless attempt to grind down our outrage and dissent.
I watched his angry, frankly desperate rant to the American people, masquerading as an address to the nation. It clearly demonstrates the collapse of responsible media reporting that it was even aired. The American networks became complicit in deceiving millions of Americans who were looking forward to the Survivor finale. Instead, they witnessed a president drowning in his own lies, fighting to survive, as his power is ebbing away.
If ever you wanted to see a desperate man unwilling to face up to the societal, economic and reputational damage America has suffered since his return to the White House, this was it. It was a greatest-hits of grievances, mixed with the fantasy of greatness and achievement, as he chastised Americans for having the audacity to believe their own lying eyes about affordability and the state of their once-proud nation.
This is a man in need of a medical intervention who has totally lost touch with reality. The only lucid moment was his alleged tariff-funded war dividend of $1,776 for service members, a cynical gift for one simple reason: he saw it as a hedge against the Supreme Court striking down his tariffs. The strategy was clear: it enables him to accuse SCOTUS of stealing money from brave men and women in the military if it rules against him.
It transpires, though, that even this Christmas gift was a lie when it came to the source of the funds. The checks are actually being paid from already appropriated $2.6 billion in funds, which were going to be written anyway. It’s a “one-time basic allowance for housing supplement to all eligible service members in pay grades O-6 and below.” Even if his original lie had been true, he would have just been giving them back the money they had already been extorted for with tariffs. i.e. giving them back their own money. The art of the deal (NOT). You really couldn’t make it up, yet every day, Trump manages to do just that.
Back to the matter at hand. Mass deportation is the global wet dream of the far right, and it’s been codified in Trump’s new National Security Strategy. Far-right parties in Europe are salivating at the thought of adopting the same mass deportation strategy. The problem the likes of Stephen Miller were always going to have is that going after undocumented immigrants with criminal records offered a pretty limited opportunity for targeting.
In their own words, Homeland Security states that their enforcement efforts target “the worst of the worst,” including gang members and violent criminals, etc. The clear evidence on the streets, in schools, churches and immigration courts shows this is a lie—a lie born out by the stats. The ICE Non-Detained Docket contains the names of 425,000 non-citizens with criminal convictions. That amounts to just 0.1% of the population. I thought it might be helpful to break down the stats so people can understand the real numbers.
THE FACTS - Using Texas crime data, which is pretty representative of a border state
Undocumented immigrants are around 41% less likely to have a criminal conviction compared to native-born Americans.
U.S.-born citizens are over twice as likely to be arrested for violent crimes.
The murder conviction rate for native-born Americans was 3.2 per 100,000 in 2016, compared to 1.8 per 100,000 for undocumented immigrants.
The non-detained docket includes:
Over 13,000 individuals with homicide convictions.
Nearly 16,000 with sexual assault convictions.
Of the 425,000 undocumented immigrants on the docket, ICE book-ins found that just 6.9% were for violent offences.
Based on their arrest rates, they are NOT targeting ‘the worst of the worst’. They are simply targeting low-hanging fruit; if they were targeting gang members, they might just get handed back the violence they hand out to women and those doing the right thing.
So if we extrapolate the data with respect to violent offences, undocumented immigrants convicted of violent and sexual crimes represent 0.0083% of the population. As of November 2025, the research from the CATO Institute (hardly a bastion of liberal ideology) reports that 73.6% of people currently in ICE detention have no criminal convictions. I would highly recommend reading this extensive research by CATO, because it really drives home the racial motivation driving the Trump regime.
As stated, there is no evidence that the regime is targeting ‘violent illegal immigrants’. Instead, they’re targeting people caught in possession of a brown or black face, or not speaking English. The problem with this type of racial profiling, as now endorsed by the US Supreme Court, is that it’s a totally blunt instrument, unfit for purpose. It leads to wrongful arrest and detention, which are not only a waste of resources, but can also lead to expensive compensation claims where US citizens are involved.
Let’s take a look at the number of deportations to date:
Formal Deportations: Over 605,000.
Self-Deportations/Voluntary Departures: Approximately 1.9 million.
Total Departures: Over 2.5 million.
I’ll be generous and assume that by the end of the first year, the administration formally deports a million undocumented immigrants, at a cost of a little over $40 billion. I want someone to explain to me how that makes any economic sense. Given that ICE is lazy and only rounding people up from workplaces and immigration courts, I think we can safely assume the regime is deporting segments of the between 8 and 10 million undocumented workers who have jobs.
For the record, undocumented workers pay $96.7 billion each year in federal and state taxes, as noted by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy:
Undocumented immigrants pay taxes that help fund public infrastructure, institutions, and services in every U.S. state. In 2022, undocumented immigrants contributed $96.7 billion in federal, state, and local taxes — a number that would rise dramatically if these taxpayers were granted work authorization.
Nearly 39 percent of the total tax dollars paid by undocumented immigrants go to state and local governments, which resulted in a total of $37.3 billion in 2022. Six states raised more than $1 billion each in tax revenue from undocumented immigrants living within their borders: California ($8.5 billion), Texas ($4.9 billion), New York ($3.1 billion), Florida ($1.8 billion), Illinois ($1.5 billion), and New Jersey ($1.3 billion).
All of the above is before we consider the money they spend in the US economy. So if we add the $10 billion in government revenue lost to the $40 billion cost of enforced deportation, we get $50 billion. That’s about $50,000 per deported immigrant, assuming one million are forced deported each year. We can’t say self-deportation contributed to the cost. Remember also that the $9 billion in lost tax revenue is annual recurring revenue, and this is lost unless you can get some white boy to fill the jobs of those deported.
Here’s where it gets fascinating. The high-profile cruelty and abuse are quite deliberate because that’s what drives the 1.9 million self-deportations at a cost of a free flight and $1,000 exit prize ($1.9 billion). Again, one has to assume that a large number of these people pay tax, given that between 50 and 75% of all undocumented workers pay US tax, so there is the additional cost of flights and revenue lost from those self-deporting. You don’t have to be a mathematics major to understand that the government is spending taxpayer money like drunken sailors for nothing but racist warped ideology, because there is absolutely no economic upside.
This is before we consider the drop in tourist revenue due to fears for their safety in the US. Travel and tour world noted in a piece published on December 12th:
A disturbing trend is emerging in the U.S. tourism industry as government data confirms a significant dip in foreign arrivals, with international visitor numbers falling by as much as 11% in September 2025 compared to the previous year. The decline has raised concerns about the sustainability of the U.S. travel economy, especially in light of the country’s evolving political landscape and evolving travel policies.
“While tourism is booming across the rest of the world, the U.S. is a notable loser this year, as tens of millions of international visitors are choosing to travel elsewhere, costing the economy up to $29 billion and risking millions of jobs,” Forbes wrote this month.”
If you consider the proposed new regulation requiring the submission of a DNA sample along with 5 years of social media activity, I expect international tourism to slump still further. Foreign visitors simply don’t want to run the risk of masked thugs disappearing them from the streets to a detention centre when they’re spending thousands of dollars on a vacation.
Returning to mass deportation, the thing people are missing here is that, yes, the regime wants to be seen as deporting tens of thousands of immigrants every month. But, there is something far more sinister going on than the made-for-TV theatre, and that’s what we are going to focus on in the second part of this series tomorrow. The real doozy here is the part private detention facilities play and how much of the $179 billion of taxpayer money is being diverted to Trump’s rich buddies that own these facilities. DO NOT let anyone tell you slavery is dead. It’s alive and well, and the White House is the plantation Big House. You do not want to miss tomorrow’s post.

It’s great propaganda to say Ice has been deporting the “worst of the worst “ but stats simply don’t back it up . Truth Matters 👍🏼… it’s about the browning of America. Projection of the census scared the white power structure … white babies are not a sufficient majority in the birth rate. Trump and Miller and Project 2025 are about sustainable white power … Obama was a wake up call for all racists and the misogynists … white women stay home and make babies is the goal . Let’s keep it simple … white men are willing to do anything to maintain their superiority over others . Michele Obama said it all “ you aren’t ready for me “ .. she was spot on 💯.
Spending billions for the the ICE circus, much of it going to taco & his
MAGAts,
& losing billions of tourism dollars because of the fear of ICE!
