While I agree with most of what you say and applaud the intention... I feel like I am reading some kind of Tourette's writing. Your points are strong and correct. But why on earth do you come up with tropes like:

"It is simply indicative of an occupation army killing people for sport, just as we saw in Schindler’s List."

Why on earth would you refer to a Hollywood depiction of the Jewish Shoah? It doesn't make your piece stronger, it takes away!

" The objective from the outset has been to dehumanise the Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank, just as the Nazi’s dehumanised the Jews in concentration camps across Europe."

What is this "just as the Nazi's"? Why do you feel the need to use this trope? I feel that your text and arguments stand for themselves, where they are strong and valid. But then tourette kicks in. Is that the only way you think you can talk to a US audience about what is happening? While not taking away from the Palestiniean suffering it clearly is not "as the Nazi's" - (in scale or appearance, its just not a helpful image) you are just drawn to this comparisation because ... of the irony of history! The way it sounds so powerful! Tourette's...

You make some very important points here which on reflection I am leaning towards agreeing with you on. Let me ponder, because it is certainly not my intent to draw an absolute equivalency. Rest assured I don't really consider the nationality of the audience, but I am mindful it is like walking in a minefield. I think this is down to inexperience as a writer, but I am here to learn. Thank you for your input it's appreciated

We can blame the British for setting the seeds of this conflict, during the First World War(1914-1918) the British were fighting against the decaying Ottoman Empire(1299-1922) but needed support of the people in the Middle East to help fight their war, so they reached out to the Sharif Of Mecca Hussein Bin Ali of the Hashemite Dynasty to give the Kingdom of Hejaz the Kingdom of Arabia free of European interference, the Sharif agreed and started the Arab Revolt(1916-1918) with the help of T.E.Lawrence aka Lawrence of Arabia. The British needed support of the Zionist which at the time resided in Britain the Secretary of state and former Prime minister Arthur Balfour had to reach out the first Earl Of Rothschild who is a strong supporter of a Jewish state who agreed to sign the Balfour Declaration to give the Jews a Jewish state of Palestine, fast forward World War I ended King Hussein was betrayed by the West realizing that they've been used as pawns and the Mandatory state of Palestine was created (1920-1948)

Are you writing a similar analysis of Sudan?. I gave up on Israel Palestine after the 1990s when both missed the chance to mimic Ireland.

Focus instead at other intractable conflicts.

Anyone with more than a passing knowledge of history (you and all commentators above) will know that the Palestinian people and state are a construct of the Palestine Liberation Army.

That Jordan, Egypt and Turkey have, at different times, ejected these people is due to their terrorising death cult.

They live to die, and their purpose for dying is to kill Jews and then every other non believer.

Women are treated abominably. Gays murdered, blacks subjugated and the list goes on.

If you had such a neighbours would you behave as well as the Israelis? If my child were held hostage I would want the government to annihilate everyone involved and that includes the women and children who are also radicalised from birth.

To support what is clear evil means you too have been deluded and radicalised.

If you ever feel a slight element of doubt, like when you see Hamas’s own videos of the women hostages, whose ankle tendons they sliced to prevent them running away, and bloodied pants (no explanation needed) then please seek help.

Your road to salvation will be long but will be worth it.

Crazy, live to die? As well behaved as? Annihilate everyone? I see no facts but a huge investment in biased emotion.

I am reminded of Eli Wiesel’s novel, Dawn. A young Holocaust survivor becomes his captors when he is tasked with shooting a British Officer in captivity. The ghosts of his family and friends witness his deed.
