This is a very important reminder of what is at stake 7 weeks from now. Will we use those 7 weeks wisely and well to help create a massive electoral repudiation of this corrupt, arrogant, ignorant, self-enriching, incompetent kakistocracy…so the rest of us can start a national recovery from these years of chaos and start rebuilding the next chapter in this great American experiment? It’s up to us.

So while we’re busting our ass to take down DJT and the entire fascist enterprise, Hakeem Jeffries proclaimed a few days ago that he is against Medicare for All AND against the abolishment of ICE. And in the wings we hear AOC tell us that she will SUPPORT Hakeem for House Speaker. What exactly are we fighting for?

This is all a game for them, Bill. Politicians and media. And we the people are the victims.

Americans are just STUPID. Those who voted for this corruption sold themselves out, and those of us who didn't vote just handed it to them. No, I didn't vote in 2024, knowing California would elect Kamala. I watched, just in case I needed to run down to the ballot box, but I was just STUPID to not recognize at the time that all those other offices were just as important as the Presidency. Never again. I believe the aftermath of the 2024 election woke me up to a whole new world of responsibility as a voter. I am sure I am not alone in that. Democracy is not a spectator sport.

In Australia voting is compulsory. For some very good reasons….

We are no longer a democracy. Thanks to voter suppression, gerrymandering and the electoral college, we are not a representative democracy.

Economic Warfare (3)

From No mercy/No malice

By Professor Scott Galloway

“We frame economic power as a contest between capital and labor, but the real star of the American economy is consumer spending, which accounts for 68% of GDP. The Great Recession saw a 3.4% drop in consumer spending — at the time, the most severe year-over-year decline since World War II. The U.S. economy registered a 9.8% drop in consumer spending during the second quarter of 2020, when Covid shut down the world as we knew it. In both instances the U.S. government responded aggressively, spending hundreds of billions, primarily on bailouts, to pull us out of the Great Recession, and trillions, primarily in direct aid, to get us through the pandemic.

The lesson? When consumers stop spending, American leaders start listening. As Geo Hussar explained to his YouTube followers at the end of September, “this is not seizing the means of production, but seizing the means of consumption,” adding that if every American dropped their consumption, on average, by 2%, “that would be the most loud and potent form of protest.”

Please: Resist. Stop cooperating. Stop spending. Stop the fascist takeover.

No excuses for people who voted for fascism in 2024, let alone for an adjudicated rapist and fraudster. I continue to believe that violence is coming. The private army that is ICE will not stand down. Thank you, Martin, as always, for clearly articulating the spreading horror of these times.

Nearly 3 generations of a white labelled “Know Nothing” movement — from eliminating the Fairness Doctrine, through charter schools, FCC gutting, Citizens United and far beyond — coalesced in the desired idiocracy, what @driftglass called an army of reprogrammable meatbags (of hate, I like to add).

Tell them what/who to hate, they don’t even need a semi-convincing “why” — and the lack of a specific when/when adds to the stochastic terror.

Worse still is that the same idiocy infects progressive and centrist communities — perhaps to a lesser proportion, as reality does have a liberal bias, but to nearly equal detrimental effect: a Democratic Party that can’t (or won’t?) distinguish between objectively definable economic or sex class, & subjective identity claims, as fundamental organizing principles for both oppression & collective power, and a gaping chasm of frustrated but inchoate ignorance among the disaffected pro-social majority that right populists can exploit using simple & appealing untruths.

TL;DR

We need better propaganda on our side, as we need to fight both the right & the lure of intellectual laziness if we’re ever going to get informed electorates & the (best of all possible bad) governments those can produce when held accountable.

Remember when the producers of the apprentice spoke openly (and apologising for) about over inflating his business skills? That's when some of the rot started. Additionally, decades of underfunding of education, particularly in red states, didn't help matters.

The mainstream media is blindly syndicating the "open Strait" fiction, completely ignoring the satellite telemetry and maritime shipping logs.

The reality? The U.S. is liquidating the SPR at an unsustainable rate to mask the blockade, and we are exactly eight weeks away from a violent energy market snapback.

We just published the full macroeconomic timeline, along with the specific Kalshi and Polymarket entry and exit targets we are using to trade the escalation.

Things which must be done ASAP: Lift the cap on SS contributions. Raise the National Minimum Wage rate...then adjust it every year, two or three by the cumulative cost of living increase. Reverse the Trump tax cut for high income individuals with minor adjustments, if necessary, in areas which we wish to preserve or adjust the rate. Set aside a portion of that to go directly towards national debt reduction. Get rid of ICE and detention centers while restructuring border and immigration security as quickly as possible (knowing that new immigration laws will need to be passed subsequently).

Pass a law prohibiting loans by the Federal government to Federal contractors. if they want the contract they need to obtain their own funds. Getting a loan contingent on obtaining the Federal contract should not be a problem. The Federal government is NOT a bank for inexperienced contractors. If any loan by the Federal government is deemed important to issue then it should be approved by Congress.

The Federal government is not an equity investor. It should sell those interests it acquired firing the Trump years back to the companies or in the stock market, taking care to not dramatically affect the share price or the company.

This is just a quick start dealing only with financial things, and which can be quickly implemented. Many other things having to do with our people's care and benefits also need to be done quickly but will require more time and effort. Let's immediately start replacing all those Inspector Generals, auditors and oversight positions which Trump eliminated or those where he put in persons to do his bidding. Hire DOJ prosecutors! Preferably some of those with long experience which were fired by the Trump administration. Same thing for FBI investigators! That should keep them busy for a while! So much to do to reverse what Trump broke. So much more to do to improve our country (fix the Supreme Court, develop and pass new immigration laws and system)!

There are hundreds maybe thousands of bloggers on ‘ the World Wide Web ‘ earning money through their clickbait articles and video blogs all saying the same things about the trumpster n pals.

Some like yourself offer better commentaries than others but it’s still an endless game of ‘ omg, did you hear, see, or read what he did or said ‘ ? How can people let that happen ! ?

My answer to that question is a bit out of the box.

What’s happening should be answered not by the usual ‘ she said he said ‘ but by looking at the human condition generally.

Human beings suffer the illusion of independent, ego driven, fear based, materialistic every man / woman for themselves Mind based reasoning. That is the context, the foundation that we find ourselves in. From there all manner of destruction, manipulation, greed, and ignorance evolve. The trumpster n his acolytes are but a gross example of life without knowledge, without resort to higher spiritual purpose. And until people get hip to what is always going on in themselves disasters like the trumpster and the republicans presently in power will continue to rear their ugly heads at the expense of the less materialistic.

So looking for alternatives without understanding human nature from a spiritual point of view is futile.

And I am not pointing to Islam, Judaism, or Christianity as examples where the truth or real God exists. Consciousness Itself cannot be found within those barbarous traditions anymore than it can be found within the American or Australian political systems !

So the answers you’re hoping to find should be Looked for in the teaching and lives of the great spiritual saints and sages NOT in the words of the same old same old bullshit plastered across the Web Ways now dominating the brain based receptors of the Everyman Everywoman . With that i humbly Unsubscribe, until you get the message and offer alternatives that have the depth to address The Real At The Root problems human being are stuck in .

I have to admit I’m really going to miss your ‘there’s no pleasing me’ engagements, but I suppose I will have to survive without our philosophical exchanges.

It was fun while it lasted and I wish you a fair wind on your adventure to find the truth.

Martin cannot offer an absolute solution because it is up to millions to solve this problem, not him.

I have a solution but you will not like it: an automatic gun in a ballroom when they are all together,

celebrating the village’s idiot for some imaginary victory! Clean them all at once!

The reason of the mess we are in is greed, lack of common sense, lack of education, selfishness, ignorance, stupidity,

and a huge ego that is never satisfied, with anything.

These are the monsters that could grab the power by cheating, lying, stealing, and of course hating this country, and us all.

Only a low class of imbeciles could follow an impostor, rapist and pedophile, but it is not the whole country.

America is in majority democratic, the problem is that they are not bad enough to respond with the same level of violence, verbal or physical,

to this lot of criminals.

We should toughen up and answer in the same manner, eliminate the traitors amongst us, and the criminals on the opposition.
