I’ve been wanting something like this FOREVER.

Your idea of creating one place where people can find primary sources, government information, research, and different forms of media really speaks to me. As an Afghan ally left behind after years of promises, I have learned how dangerous it can be when ordinary people cannot find clear and trustworthy information. If this project keeps facts at the center, it could give people a better way to understand what is happening.

Americans have to put down the evil movement that's taken over their country, a kind of action that's everything but natural to Democrats, including shutting down Fox, Heritage and others that spread hate. I can't see it happening outside of a crash. But Republicans excel at creating crashes.

Trump's at work on a biggest-and-best-ever kind of crash. It is his destiny. He's a sick, mean piece of garbage. It's what he was hired to do. For once America can't let the crooks off the hook. Vulnerable elements are being hurt first and worst which is heartbreaking. I think we're already in it.

This all sounds incredible!

When I work on my articles, I use only highly credible sources. I refuse to include FOX and FB and AOL and the like. I use AP, The Hill, and others of that ilk.

A hub would be super-interesting.

Thank you for your hard work on this.

You’ll be able to try it for yourself and then let me know.

Let me know when it is up and running, and I'll certainly take her for a test spin.

Will you have an instance for the UK/EU as well as the US. US is more dramatic but UK/EU is getting interesting with Burnham on dealing with Brexit and Milliband posing questions on Israel for the UK. 👍🏻🙏🏻

Truth Matters's avatar

Glad you asked. The answer to that is yes and I will be launching a new Substack for a UK audience called The Battle for Britain next week.

Here's to old fashioned news reporting like Huntly Brinkley used to do.

The issue is not AI, the issue is the people who are writing the programs. Garbage in equals garbage out. These aren't saints writing these programs, these are people who want to make money.

I am blown away by the description of what you are doing and I totally trust your intentions. At 77 I relate to much of what you had to say about your life after retirement. I retired at 70 from the tech training and knowledge management niche, last 18 years as an independent consultant. Claude also blows me away...ive been using it the last 2 months to help me with 2 big personal projects. Meanwhile, in the back of my mind I keep saying to myself how AI could help educate our citizenry in critical thinking, research, writing skills etc and how it could be used to do so in our schools, k-12 and universities. There is some evidence for this claim. And i agree....AI is not the problem, we are! Wish I were younger (67!) so I could take this new frontier on with you!

Wonderful! Thank you for doing this.

I have enjoyed your analysis and your writing and hope to continue to do so.

There is a difference between “social democrats” and “democratic socialists”. Both groups, though, believe in capitalism. I would like to see you brush up on these two groups and what the identity with.

Thank you.

Not only that, we are truly living in a time when technology is being developed and used to harm you and me. Most of these followers of politicians are completely blind to the fact that they are also being screwed not just the countries we are bombing and the people we are kidnapping and sending back home. One day you will wake up and see the predicament you are in.

I’m so happy to hear you have harnessed the power of Ai to benefit your project. I am a big skeptic of AI as I feel critical thinking will be greatly impacted as our brains become lazy and shrink to the size of walnuts .

At 73 years of life , I have experienced the aging process and see the progression of “ use it or lose it “ theory . It is not just a theory … and the masses will use AI because it is easier than in depth analysis. So in the long term, we must face that brains need exercise to grow just like all our muscles. People are lazy …. They will seek the easy solution just the same as we seek the magic pharmaceutical to fix our poor diets and lazy bodies . AI … as I see it … is a toxic pharmaceutical. I use it only as a google search product … and maybe that makes me uninformed… or “ behind the times “ . I hope that AI proves me wrong but It’s going to have to cure disease , find solutions to immoral behavior, find solutions for pedophilia, find solutions for the war mind …. And bring peace and harmony to the world . I’ll be dead by then …. But I’m happy to see you have harnessed it for your good work. Looking forward to exploring this new resource. Thank you for your persistence to expose the facts and dedication to truth …. Yes it matters .

There’s a really important distinction here Bonnie, this is about using AI to smooth the workflow and facilitate rapid development.

It will not do any writing. It will only ever summarise with prominent labelling when it does

Our Books of knowledge mustbe protected by us the people .They are buying rare books 📚 for AI manipulating the context and destroying these treasures .

Could not agree more.

We used to have that. David Brinkley is no longer with us.
