It's without a doubt. Truth facts are informed decision making and writers/ journalists are the foundation of an informed society. I thank you for informing us!

Until you run out of other people's money. You are not allowed private property. Either government owns every thing. No such thing as private anything. It's for lazy people.

The undermining of truth is the first step in undermining democracy. Destroying the public educational system and institutions is step 2 . Stupid people are vulnerable to lies and deception . Illiteracy has taken hold in a nation that was the beacon of upward mobility and economic prosperity fostered by public education of the masses . If we don’t return to making education a priority for all - with public funding and support systems for working parents - we are doomed to fail in upholding our democratic values. Lies destroy democracy. Stupidity and a lack of critical thinking skills is the modus operandi.

Wake up America ….

Education should be on state level. Federal shouldn't be in charge of our kids. And another thing this country is a Federal Constitutional Republic with a bill of rights. Democracy is mob rule. Every person in this country has rights. Not the mob.

Saving us, from ourselves. Isn't that the ultimate and daily deal we make. Responsibility for our global, countries, local communities, family, and individual actions, to help us build, brick by brick, a better tomorrow for us in the now, near future and ultimately for the generations that come after, either flourishing, or struggling, we choose the levels of difficulty by the way we meet our demons and heal them, showing the compassionate way forward or not.

Truth Matters's avatar

Don’t you think it’s easier to make a deal if you have all the facts to hand to make informed decisions?

How about changing the political rules so INDEPENDENT candidates can be on the same footing as the 2 (lame) corporate party’s that can’t enforce the Constitution!!!!

Your optimism and aggressive solution seeking discussion is so needed right now! we’re all in united anger, but we need structure and a voice. I hope democratic leadership listens and steps up because we need them. Just like we need you! I’m so excited to see how the truth portal comes into fruition!

Must know just what $$ upgrading costs. Already have to support PBS and NPR monthly. So how much we talking here?

Martin, I think too that it was a calculated move because the pain of the people is more important than their political ambitions.

Schumer is not a tough guy but he’s not stupid, nor a traitor. It was a sacrifice because he knows that his tribe will crucify him!

It was a compromise to end the bad situation and show the country who is Trump. Also, they saved the filibuster, for now.

Schumer is not the right man to fight a thug like the 🍊💩, we need a bulldog, smart and ferocious. I do not see one, yet.

Truth Matters's avatar

You know I respect your views my friend and on this issue I understand where you’re coming from.

As we do occasionally like with Mamdani, we will have to agree to disagree.

To hand the narrative back to Trump is a disaster and as a result, Dems are now seriously wounded.

I absolutely understand the pain and the suffering, but the air travel issue would have defeated them as it did last time. Trump has been handed a get out of jail free card for absolutely no gain. It’s a mistake in my opinion of course.

Simon Sez's avatar

Yes, I see that the majority thinks like you. I do not disagree, I am skeptical.

I believe that wasn’t Schumer’s idea alone, they decided after debate.

See what prof. Richardson thinks too, she is like you, passionate about history.

I agree that Mamdani is a breeze of fresh air but they will fight him to the mattresses!

Skeptical, again.

What is good from all this is the new generation that rises and has a voice. That’s a hope.

Who wants a Marxism? Obama turned this country into a bunch of mass burning and criminals first.

Truth Matters's avatar

Can I respectfully suggest a ‘Just say no’ approach to consuming the Trump narcotics.

Once you’re clean, go get an education, then circle back and we can have an intelligent discussion.

Simon Sez's avatar

Maybe read a history book before polluting other minds?

Teresa Jura's avatar

I aced history and government and civics. Obviously you didn't.

Truth Matters's avatar

You mean like Trump aced his cognitive test 😂

Simon Sez's avatar

Where, at Trump University?

Teresa Jura's avatar

You must belong to the Q-tip organization.

That’s a democratic small town, how come are you opposing your community?

Your high school teaches Marxism? Hmm… try again.
