I totally agree with this. Some of my Jewish friends do not believe the truth of what Truth Matters wrote, but I, only half Jewish and the wrong half for Israel, absolutely do. And the truth needs to be voiced, loudly, insistently, and steadfastly. Or else we will all perish under the killing burden of lies.

Truth DOES matter and regardless of how uncomfortable it can make us feel, it is critically urgent now that truth be spoken. The savagery, barbarism and inhumane behavior of Netanyahu, Trump and other world leaders must never be forgotten or forgiven.
I so very much appreciated the article yesterday and restacked it and posted it to FB. I have always shares your thoughts on organized religion and have never understood why a democratic nation has a national religion. The creation of Israel in the first place seems to me to be based on religion which I have also never understood. And the fact that, if one expresses dismay and horror at the blatant war crimes and clear ethnic cleansing happening in Gaza, gets one labeled as an antisemite is also very confusing to me. To me it should never be about religion or politics or race or anything else but human rights and dignity. And that's why so many people dehumanize entire groups of people so that they feel like they're justified in persecuting and murdering them. And religion, especially, has been the catalyst for this throughout the ages. I thought we'd moved past this dark period in our history but it turns out that I was naive and sorely mistaken and it's very disheartening and depressing to me.
I’m not sure you accurately portrayed the historical context. Since its founding Post WW2, every conflict between Israel and Arabs have been started with attacks on Israel. The Palestinians and their neighbors have never accepted a two state solution. That being said, as an American Jew, I am horrified by what Netanyahu is doing in Gaza. The New York Times did an extensive investigation a few weeks ago that laid out the timeline of Netanyahu conducting this war for his political survival. Never could I imagine Jews conducting ethnic cleansing. It is horrific
Hi there! I’m a 55 year old mother and grandmother, originally from Illinois, and have been living in Arizona since 2017 with my husband of 35 years. I cannot stand Trump and his regime, and as I have gotten older I am paying more attention to what’s going on in the world. Mostly because of my grandkids. I’m not Jewish and didn’t ever know too much about Israel and the Middle East. Thank you for your truthful and informative writing. We need more people like you!

I always seem to be the guy delivering the bad news. Ready assured it’s not what I want to do and I don’t swamp people with my thoughts on the issue. I simply comment periodically when I just can’t hold it in anymore.
Truth Does matter. I’m sorry you lost so many subscribers just for telling the truth. What BiBi is doing over there—I consider it War Crimes. The pictures I see of these children, these babies are horrific! Ribs, joints,jaw bones,etc. I cry every time they show something on the news about them. And he blew up a hospital ( or 2? ) awhile back. They need medication also. And Trump was there how many months ago wanting to make Gaza a Resort! Pfffth!! Another one with no refused for life!
Always an occupational hazard with truth telling I’m afraid. I had the same in May when I last wrote about it. I don’t suffer from subscriber or follower anxiety. People are free to support me or walk away, nothing changes in my approach. Tomorrow is another day and another story. Sadly for those in Gaza, they can’t move on.

My wife's side of the family is American Jewish. Those who have expressed an opinion don't like Netanyahu.
