Ukraine will soon become the least of Trump's problems, as the wheels start to fall off the US economy. But Europe, in partnership with Ukraine, might now discover what Putin has on him.
I am hopeful that the EU leaders are soon ready to speak to Trump plainly about his clearly deferential treatment of Putin! I agree with you to release the funds that have been frozen and arm Ukraine so that they can defend their country and stop this destruction. If Putin does not cooperate then crushing sanctions to destroy their economy should be done! If the Eu gets tough, maybe Trump will become less complicit with Russia.
If we who were in the EU had paid our way in NATO and had had the balls to tell Putin to remove himself and his troops from Crimea in 2014 we would not be in this awful mess. Oh and btw, if Trump had been in power then he wouldn’t have had the balls either, in fact because he has been compromised since way before then, Ukraine may well have fallen earlier as he would have encouraged Putin to spread his Russian influence

I believe that Trump is being blackmailed by Putin who obviously expressed his demands and what would happen if he did not follow through, while they were in the limo. The fact that his staff were so alarmed after that, they knew something seriously occurred. And just like that, all of Putin's talking points came out of his mouth. There are American flags on Russian tanks in Ukraine, something that should outrage any American as it does the world. How dare he let that happen. Putin is the most calculating evil killer and Trump is a fawning, 5th grader, low on maturity and the stupidest man; the perfect puppet to destroy this country, Europe and the world. EU leaders are very away of the precarious situation he has placed all of us in. Where is the outrage from the Republicans that our so-called president is in bed with Putin, millions are dying in Ukraine along with the kidnapping and killing of 40,000 children?
