Norms seem to historically have saturated our government from Congress to the executive branch. Norms spoke to decency, respect and honor even when they were pushed beyond boundaries at times. But, they were there. Most of us took them for granted. If you envision norms to be like a tree trunk, it seems every tree in the forest has been cut down and put through the wood chipper unable to be put back together. It’s mind numbing. My hope is that those who tore down the tress didn’t account for the vast root system underground that is already communicating how to regrow the forest so this never happens again.
There is no interpretation to the US Constitution as far as rights of citizens. That is a smoke screen they have created. It is simple. Republicans are denying their oath to the US Constitution. They are traitors. They have changed their allegiance & are now Russian assets. They should be treated as such. Dems need to stop playing weak. This is our beloved country we are losing. Either show courage or stand down and get out of the way. You have the majority of US citizens on your side!
