Abandoned Afghan Ally's avatar

As an Afghan veteran who served with the US, I understand the issue of trust very personally. Many Afghans stood with America and later felt abandoned. If America wants allies to trust it again, it must remember the people who stood beside it when times were hard.

Totally on point …. We agree . Everyone is standing to the sidelines waiting and watching …. It’s just a matter of time before the USA - once a strong and formidable world leader will collapse. The debt burden is enough on its own to sink the ship , add now we are spending more on this futile war that has absolutely no positive outcome. We were suckered into this Iran war ( or Epsteined into it - new word in the dictionary ) and now our status and support in Europe , Korea , Japan , China … is collapsing. Taiwan is extremely vulnerable to a Chinese invasion…. We have no military presence in that region as the only major aircraft carrier is being positioned to the straight of Hormuz . Our allies are stocking up for self defense . Turkey is seeking Pakistan protection for nuclear support . The arms race is back on. Drone production is skyrocketing. And

🍊rump wants to redesign the Navy aircraft carriers because he’s such a stable genius meanwhile there is a sewage emergency on the USS Lincoln.

It really feels surreal to me .

I’m not sure how this will end but it is not what and where I expected to be in my retirement years. Thank you MAGA morons .
