— with all your declared research …cd you tell us by how much?
* I think you spend too much time telling how you think, how hard you work, how much research etc. All the other substack reporters that I read surely do the same, but don’t talk so much about ‘how much they are toiling’ again & again.
* I respect your ‘toiling’ & your feelings, but you sometimes go on more about them than you provide us with facts. You make anti-Dem statements with nothing to back it up with in this article - that leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
There’s always a double standard of what people expect from/ will put up with in these teo parties … Dems must walk on water & R’s can do whatever the hell they want.
R’s consistently demolish progress, Dems get back in, clean it up & the fickle-minded hand it back to the R’s to demolish again: Trump was handed 2 relatively ‘cleaned-up’ economies and where did that get America? How many trillions in debt, suffering now & increasingly in the future re: healthcare? 🙄
Please lessen the repetition of how hard you work & show us more details.
And if you MUST criticize Dems, become a little more factual about it, please,
— not neglecting the R. comparisons either.

I am reminded of the old Tv series, Dragnet, wherein the detective often says:
— “The facts, M’am, just the facts.” (Old-style TV lighthearted misogyny).
There are arguments to be made for both brevity & longwinded oration, but today there are so many writers/news outlets etc, that the fight for the readers’ attention is great. Also in that equation is the current pace of the news itself - breakneck speed.
Who was it that said “Not that the story need be long, but it will take a long time to make it short.”?
Jesus used the short & the long … but is best-remembered for his ‘shorts’?

20-20-20 … optometric advice: every 20 min. take your eyes off screen & look 20’ off into the distance for 20 seconds (at least). Apparently we don’t BLINK as much with screen reading as we do with books.

I truly believe Martin’s vision, now a reality, will change the direction of US and UK political analysis. I have no doubt that it will be used by journalists worldwide, but also, as was the vision, by your everyday user who simply wants to know the truth.
You see, truth…it really does matter.
The autocrats, and tech bros, the billionaires, and their hustlers knew it.
The average person has just learned why it’s so important, and why the truth was hidden.
Here’s your chance, the people’s chance to reclaim what was always yours.
Simply follow for now, and the truth will be revealed.
When it comes to politics and religion, I don’t trust anybody either. I don’t have many friends at all because I’ve always been very outspoken and unafraid of telling it like it is. The very few friends I have know this and they except it.
It is funny to see how a lot of people believe that once the Democrats win, if they do, everything is going to go back to normal. Trump, however, will still be in power and he will need to be impeached. Will a democrat majority in the house have the guts to take that to fruition? If the current Democrat leaders in the house and the Senate continue to be representing the party in both houses, I doubt it.
The rest of the Trump administration needs to be impeached as well. Will that happen between ow and 2028? I doubt it. And once Donald Trump is out of the Oval Office, who will succeed him if that happens before this term is over? Good old JD Vance? That’s just great!
But we had to vote because we cannot allow the people who are in the two houses now to keep earning a salary for their extremely badly done jobs if we have some hope of continuing to be free. However, there are some people in general, voters in particular who like to be slaves; some who like to be pushed around; some who like to be told what to do because they can’t think on their own. So long as that is the case, we will always have to fight for our rights and for our freedom with actual, verifiable data and with facts that can illustrate the truth of what we say.
If there is a devil, Donald Trump is his envoy and he wants his voters to think that he is in the ballot. And the truth is that many christians prefer to fall into temptation and then think of the consequences.
I will differ on one point. There is a SIGNIFICANT NEW ENERGY and a NEW CROP OF BRAVE NEW LEADERS in the Democratic party and I'm looking forward to them literally shaking things up, turning the tide and making a HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Yes, I understand the old guard Democratic Party is no better than the Republicans. Yes, year after year it has been a selection between two sad sack candidates, divining which is the least bad choice.
I beleive we have some great young leaders coming into their stride when we need them most.

Thank you for your comment, independent voters make up 45% of the voting public, that makes them the largest voting block.
As for the working hard, the truth matters. Right? The last 2 weeks I started at 5am EVERY morning and finished around 10pm no days off.
I have made a note though and stuck it on my monitor so I don’t forget.
On the point of Democrats, I’m always up for a spirited debate on any fact based rebuttal.
