China is being kind calling the USA a superpower with a limp. I would have phrased it "one a former superpower which is currently a sinking ship, sinking unusually fast and getting closer to the bottom every single day.
Considering who trump took with him to China, the trip seems to be more about business than any sort of diplomacy, or world interest - and from what I’ve been reading, things started to tank immediately after arriving.
