All the more reason to get Canada’s LNG exports set up to replace at least a portion of the Russian supply. Russia can be starved into submission, but corruption in Old World thinking will string this war along if there are ways to maintain existing profits.
It may not be the most efficient route to get the energy there, but it wouldn’t have to be for ever. The EU still needs to ween itself off hydrocarbons, just as much as we do in Canada.
In a perfect world, NG would already be replaced by Hydrogen. Fuel cells and car engines using hydrogen would end the need to even build fleets of EVs.
I am having a very disturbing thought today, this April 2nd, “Liberation Day” might be the day Trump removes the US from NATO. Such scary times we are in.
“We the People” need to step up and embrace the fact that until we rid ourselves of the rats in the White House, the European Nations and Ukraine will always have the rat in Russia to contend with. Put that rat out to pasture too! Then turn to the situation in Gaza and Israel. Why is it that greedy land grabbing 💩’s think they need more… when they can’t even handle what they got! The economy of all mentioned are in the tubes and they’re trying to create more chaos by selling a shady deal to the world and expect us all to lap it up like puppies!
A solution to European energy dependence on Russia could well be negotiated with Canada while still enhancing European sanctions on Russia. Trump is only good at picking losers and Mark Carney is more than a match for him.
No doubt Ukrainians have fought bravely but they are starting to have problems recruiting personnel to replace casualties. It isn’t clear if Europe will be able to fill the vacuum being left by USA, particularly to face an expected Spring offensive. So, in the not too long run things favor Russia; therefore, Europe and Ukraine should start developing a Plan B, including the possibility of a Ukrainian government in exile to lead an asymmetrical war.
Trump's gift to Putin for engineering his Get Out of Jail Free card.
This proves that Trump is a Russian asset
Trump isn’t smart enough to do this all by himself. It’s the P25 authors guiding him.

Well Jim, That just makes too much sense!
The US should be ashamed of its actions and the EU must wean itself from Russian gas or there is no hope for Ukraine.

Sitting in the corner, wearing the DUNCE cap is Donald.
Putin can't deliver master class in comb overs.
Trumpollini wants tariffs ? Here’s a real opportunity to have a positive US advantage impact …. Think he will impose? Holding breath… blue boy🤬
