The technology exists to remove millions from voter rolls, and to make it hard for the 90 million disengaged who don’t regularly vote to register and vote. All sorts of voter suppression levers, not just stopping vote by mail, will be attempted. We can’t afford to be Pollyannas and believe that these tools won’t be used to perpetuate MAGA/GOP power beyond 2026 if not prevented.

We had an issue in my district where all the people registered as independents or other parties (not republican or democrat) were missing in the voter book and had to vote provisionally, if they voted at all. It could have been a simple clerical error to use the primary voter books instead of the general ones, but it is worrying!
They had the proper voting books by about halfway through the day, but we've got people mobilized to make sure no errors happen next cycle, at least at the local government level.
