If it’s any comfort Bonnie, I do t think the dollar will collapse. I do think Trump is playing with fire though in attempting to drive the value down. His dalliance with stable coins worries me far more. I am deeply concerned for the fiscal welfare of everyday Americans who will be on the hook for this disaster.

I think he could, too. After all, he was just fine about Mike Pence being hung during the Jan 6 riots, wasn't he? If those rabble rousers had found him, thankfully, they did not. I think Trump would happily watch someone burn at the stake, Rosie O'Donnell comes to mind.....she REALLY gets under his skin and that's enough justification, in his opinion.

I would recommend reading again The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein that US became experts in crashing foreign economies (Chili, Argentina, … even USRR, …) in order to frighten the population and impose neo capitalists dictatorship… and I do believe that right now they are experimenting with the Shock Doctrine on Canada and US citizens… in the end, when people lose their jobs, lack money to survive, they will act as expected by the Bannon’s villains and create chaos… I believe this is the goal… and then deploy the military all over the place, cancel elections and really take sole control of this country… we are in the most dangerous and tipping point of this drama… and yet I still hope I’m totally wrong and really hope Americans will surprise me again and remove this President.
