Also, his unholy fascination with Greenland might relate to its deposits of the rare earths China will now restrict because of the tariffs

The frantic way in which Trump has gone about debulking the government of " waste and fraud" raises a huge red flag about what is actually taking place. It is not in order to "fix" anything but a matter of ravaging the coffers of our US Treasury and closing down our social systems and diverting the money into his " federal crypto scam". It will leave millions of people destitute and starving. Dude, this is not fixing the problem. It's building upon the problem. It's what they want you to think though. Well, the money will go to the US Treasury but it’s not too clear yet who is paying: the exporter, the importer or the customer. We’ll see.
The exporter DOES NOT pay tariffs. The importer pays it, then decide how much of the tariff is passed on to the customer.
