Perhaps the lack of engagement comes from feeling completely overwhelmed and stunned by the enormity of the problem.

I understand and I can see your point, but I don’t believe all is lost as you should see in the next post.

I know plenty of people who do not understand AI at all. They think it's some sort of magic. Some are wary of how their personal data might be used, but many think it's just a fun new app.

I appreciate that you are tackling extremely complex issues and concepts. Lack of engagement might be a reflection of the fact that we don’t know enough about AI to make informed comments. Please keep educating us, I find your insightful essays foundational to my continued learning.

I totally agree! I have had to set limits w/ the number of articles I read for my mental health. We’ve been dealing w/a daily barrage of destruction, disgusting corruption, lies, human rights violations, moral deprivation, etc….

I am so very thankful for this Substack community as a whole, and the expert analysis by the various contributors like our friend, Martin Mc Sweeney!!

Saying you digress is beyond understatement. What was the bottom line for article 3? I sure didn’t get anything beyond a rant.
