I don't have a blog, but I've been calling it genocide since the first disproportionate response to the Oct 7th attack, knowing it would not stop at one retaliatory response. Netanyahu has been looking for a reason to eliminate Palestinians for a long time.

First off - let’s call it what it is - a genocide. Fearing what others think when you have a platform is contradictory to what your responsibilities are. “With great power, comes great responsibility.” Will comment more once I’ve had a proper read - but this should be a good start.

To be fair, that IS how I describe it and I said I made no apology for doing so.

Fair enough - I thought it was important enough to have it as the headline. Thank you for speaking out!

I think you owe the author a decent apology.

My comment was more so around the headline. I understand the piece may have called it out more explicitly. Didn’t mean to bring down the great work that Truth Matters is doing. Apologies if it came across that way!

Hi Martin,

Congratulations, thank you for this three part series on the horrific genocide in Gaza. It is a poignantly told story by gripping facts. I think we need to perhaps hear about all the counties complicit in the continued arming of Israel. Failure to respect International Law another cornerstone fighting

for democratic decency should alarm us . The faces of war criminals Netanyahu, Putin there is room for the complicit governments who through legal loopholes and fragrant lies fuel hatred. The hatred spread will have a price on all.

Great series, Martin! I appreciate your honesty and transparency.

Thank you for your time, effort and attention to detail. And thank you for sharing your personal experiences as a way of bringing humanity and light to a difficult subject.

I feel like I have a better understanding with more depth and clarity.

Thank you for these posts, I've been trying to understand this conflict since the October 7th attacks and really couldn't get my head around it until reading your words. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for these posts…. here I quote you, “governments considered unwavering advocates for the international rule of law, have abandoned the Palestinian people along with any semblance of moral integrity.” — There is absolutely -Never- a time when starving a population is morally correct, nor can this level of brutality be justified. Period. Surely the food supplies can be protected by troops, and allow the distribution of the dedicated, donated foods to be daily served. Any excuse is not going to remove the stain of treachery from the Jewish leaders…or those who could help… who would do well to remember… that the world has not yet forgotten, nor forgiven, those who have done this before—and for thousands of years their names, and Dark Karma has continued.

Following "Mondoweiss" for years I perceived an intention to be truthful and, as far as that seems possible, objective, on the deteriorating fate of Israelis-Palestinians relationship.

"Mondoweiss" would be happy and grateful to receive support of their journalism/witnessing.

Have you seen this, from Double Down News Martin? The UK government is complicit in this genocide.
