Is there some place we can contact to BEG a panel of outside parties to help us to protect election integrity?

Sadly, I fear not, but international election monitors is a thing, my friend does it.

Luckily for Trump his core supporters are so stupid and propagandized they'll back him no matter how badly he screws up and how much he wrecks their lives. Many of those are religious fundamentalists and they have a hankering for wars, famines, plagues, fires and floods. It all feels vaguely biblical. So little Donnie can go around shitting the world like Bush, his model in incompetence. The rich boys always have had someone to clean up their messes.

A thought has been rolling around in the back of my mind. Bear with me. Iran is famously known for the long game and so far their restraint has been aligned for this. They really do not want war. I think they want to keep the Grifter in Thief engaged, just enough, until the midterms to inflict as much humiliation as possible. This also gives them the opportunity to negotiate with an adult, further assert they must be allowed a seat at the table, and have a prime opportunity to take out Israel. Thoughts?

I think you’re right to a degree Carolynn, there is no question they play the long game. This is a country with a long history of facing powerful adversaries.

The problem Trump has is he is at best one dimensional in his thinking. His transactional illness causes him to misread the room. There is a cultural chasm between the two mindsets. Iran has no problem with Trump killing tens of thousands of Iranian civilians, it would be a propaganda gift and the best recruitment ad ever.

They are highly media literate as demonstrated with their LEGO ads. Any which way up, Trump loses, it’s now just a matter of degree. Iran is in no rush because it’s hurting Trump far more than them. They can play cat and mouse as long as it takes.

The Iranian Foreign Minister visited China last week, they did that knowing Trump will visit this week. They are not replying to Trump to ensure when he goes to China there is no resolution.

They are better at this game than he is. Yes the midterms are a factor too. They are dealing to cause maximum damage, no question. - Martin

Thank you Martin. Yes, the Iranians are cruel and much of that is locale and ideology (I'm a cultural anthroplogist). But I also think they are laughing their collective asses off. I love the Iranian people.

At what point does the rest of the world turn on the US for destroying their economies and start sanctioning us? We started a war for no reason and now the whole world is suffering.

THAT'S SO TRUE 👍. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE ⚖️ IN EVERYTHING.

Who has to make a formal request to the UN to arrange for International election monitors?

Judi Lakin's avatar

It certainly seems that we are in a pickle! Only time will tell how it all ends, but knowing Trump it will not be good! Probably the big winners will be the ones betting against us on Poly-market.

How can we encourage the use of international election monitors? Trump and all his minions know they will lose if they can't prevent people from voting. I wonder if they have considered the silent Magas who will oppose them in November.

Duly noted Jim, it’s an analogy that dates back to World War I, but you’re right, donkeys are owed an apology which I am happy to support.
