For those who want to view how the Trump regime works beyond the orchestrated playbook, I would recommend a look at the advisory committee of immunization practices (ACIP) meeting today on uTube. For background, I would ask you to believe that physicians and scientists have been working to develop vaccines to prevent illness since before Jenner popularized vaccination at the end of the 18th century. Thomas Jefferson wrote to congratulate him on his work as it would eradicate Smallpox, which it eventually did. As a recent example, the vaccines to prevent severe Covid-19, have saved millions of lives and severe illnesses. Vaccines, especially the ones recently developed have been studied extensively for safety and effectiveness.
Kennedy has fired all the vetted members of this ACIP committee and put in, almost to a person, people who have questioned vaccine safety and effectiveness. Many have no experience in medicine of vaccine work. The way they were selected, and any vetting that took place is unclear. Many people at the CDC involved in vaccine evaluation have quite or been fired. The same is true at the FDA.
The meeting allows anybody to see the bias against how decades of vaccine work has been done and is considered wrong, inadequate and prejudiced by those Kennedy has chosen. The summary presented by the person Kennedy appointed, who is not a physician or vaccine scientist, simply presented the work done on the safety and effectiveness of Covid-19 vaccine as essentially not valid, yet this vaccine is the most critically studies vaccine yet developed. Talking points by the Kennedy committee’s questions are more reminiscent of McCarthy committee than a ACIP discussion. People working in public health are no more enemies of the people then most of those accused by McCarthy (and his lawyer and Trump trainer, Roy Cohn) Listen to their bias and often ignorance of the actual issues of immunization policy. Most important, listen to Kennedy panel’s ignoring the immense good immunization brings. Don’t take my word for it. Listen to their bias and hear the people in the room who represent multiple health care entities, the AMA, infectious diseases societies. They were chosen by their colleagues in health care to represent the societies belief of what is needed to help people. They represent lifetimes of accepted science and medicine, not the views of a lawyer who believes radicle and disproved ideas about vaccination put in place by a regime that is in the process of destroying our way of governance. Listen to their innuendos and setting the stage of discussion with lies. Listen to how dissent is silenced in real time before your eyes. I have read the reports of this happening across many aspects of our society, slowly at first, but rapidly since Trump was put back in power by lies, deception, the media and a monetized political system. But having spent over 50 years concerned with people’s health, a decade that included those very meetings I ask you to glimpse at, I ask everyone to be out there making a public statement that the American Experiment and the enlightenment still has a breath of life. Please be vocal, be visible and be peaceful.

The Dems in the Senate must have a list of demands under which they would vote to keep the government running. Such as, the Congress sets tariffs, ICE only goes after violent convicted felons, no one is deported to a third party country, and so forth. And that willingness to fund the government would be on a week to week basis, to prevent the Rat from going back on his commitment.
If congress refuses to authorize appropriations, the Rat will not have money to operate his corrupt, inept, sadistic government. A chance for the Dems to prove they’re not the feckless cowards they’ve been up until now.
