Be in no doubt, I want every person regardless of political allegiance to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law for crimes committed against innocent children, but it’s folly to ignore the catastrophic danger that lies beneath the frenzy surrounding the Epstein files.
I’m impressed with your ability to put the facts together in such logical order, and spell out what’s happening with the train wreck of American politics today. Thanks to Trump, (I hate even typing his name!) I have been reduced to relying on my friends to help me pay my bills as I need my SSI for rent. After l give it up to a heartless group of greedy men who care not that I am 75, paraplegic, stuck in a wheelchair, on oxygen 24/7 and severely disabled both financially, physically and emotionally as l await my next rent increase which will make me homeless. Trump has been decimating an economy that was already struggling, and as more are coming to realize that they put a flesh eating monster in charge of what used to be the most powerful country in the world. We now sit in limbo as the government shutdown continues. I apologize for not being able to upgrade, but I think you’ll understand why. Please keep spelling out the truth, and hopefully you will be a catalyst for some reform here in America.

Dear Martin, thank you so very much for your response to my comment. I am so pleased that you read it, and that you continue to share your expert opinion about what’s happening in the world today. So many of the podcasts that are popping up on YouTube, I have watched, and they have been enlightening. Yet they limit what a person can watch if they’re not able to join their complete podcast. I have tried explaining why I’m not able to pay their monthly fee, but you are the first person to even respond to my comments, so I am very grateful for your reply.
I’m with you, people need to hear the truth. Everything that comes out of Washington DC are blatant lies and deception. This is the first time in my life I have ever been ashamed to be an American. The present administration has made a mockery of our nation as a country, whose doors have always been open to those who would seek asylum from their own war torn, disaster ridden or starving countries. No more do they have that option. We the people don’t even have security in our own homes, where DJT drives away those he deems as unfit to live here. ICE raids snatch up US citizens as well as those who have lived here for many years but have had their visa’s or green cards ignored as they are shipped off to the most dangerous places in the world for punishment. He has been systematically ruining the relationships with our allies, to the point where no country will stand beside us.I keep hearing about how people are tired of the disaster he has inflicted on us, how he’s being tried for his crimes, and talk about either he resigns or he’s impeached. And yet he’s still there, going about murdering people on boats in international waters whom he claims are bringing dangerous drugs into the USA and nobody stops him. Please keep shouting out the truth of what’s happening! We’re now prisoners, held hostage by the maniac’s regime. You’re doing a good thing. Keep it going.

We should not forget that also the united kingdom embraced the neoliberal political-economical project and agressively helped to export, often with ‘soft or hard’ force this system around the world in tandem with the USA and some conservatif liberal european political partners. The vision of Thatcher ‘there’s no such thing as society’ dismantled social cohesion , counterpower of civil society (unions, non-profits and activists) and social security They preached free markets in public, but supported a system where big corporations destroyed local economies. This led to the killing of the middle class, more poverty in the lower and working class and more millionaires and billionaires and lead directly to the succes of farright and neofascism. So, Europe and the USA are suffering the consequences. We are united in this fight. We have to stand together
But i think that is ironically a greater danger . The advantage in the Angelsask countries, with the USA now in turbo, is that the creation of authoritarian neoliberalist feudalism is verry obvious ‘in the face’ for everyone who can understand and want to see it. In Belgium for example, and other neighbourg countries, with a strong post WW II social-democratic liberal tradition democracy, the predatory anti democratic class is a lot smarter. They dismantle sinds 2 decades, verry slowly but steady our social-democracy. Our prime minister called Thatcher his example and his party embraces trumpism-light. But as they do it slice by slice and pack it in a story of ‘reasonable and responsible change needed for a secure future’., it is verry difficult for the opposition and activists tobmake people see the danger and convince the people the destructif path we’re on. It’ s like the story of the frogs in a pan with slowly warming water. ..
With all the speculation about why Trump says the files should be released, one I haven't heard is that it averts his demise, where he'd lose his party. He makes a career out of bald-faced lying, so he'd spin whatever is revealed. The only thing I couldn't see him spinning is video. If there isn't any, it would be deny/explain, and I bet he'd survive Epstein to abuse another day
Marty, you're a smart guy! I couldn't agree with you more! Trump has cooked the books! Epstein will not be the issue that ends him. I don't believe there is an issue out there that can do that. The only thing that will get him is his health! Does that sound defeated? I am anything but! However I'm also trying to be a realist! The only thing that can destroy Trump is the ballot box! Look at the tactical pivot he just pulled off on the Epstein file releases! He may weather this storm! Sad but true!
