Judicial and legislative oversight is flacid, unable to perform in an environment where hope is being drained from every value which made America stand tall and proud.
While I feel like many other writers rightly focus on the threat du jour, I am grateful you step outside and provide background and historical context. Well done
Thanks Kath, we need historical context if we are to properly assess the situation. They are considered the Boogeyman, when in reality they have achieved astounding things. As I stated it’s not for me to advocate on their behalf, but it’s on me to respect their achievements, especially with regard to poverty reduction.
I know my bad. I’ll go through and sort it. I kept getting corrected by autocorrect in my defence which had me doubting myself. Promise sir, I’ll sort it before you get up tomorrow 🤣
I should know better than to troll over grammar and spelling, but as a former journalist, and former HS English teacher, it’s in my blood. That said, I know I could not do what you are doing. Carry on, and I will read your work with great interest.
A great assemblage of information in making the argument that USA is not the same economic powerhouse of the past. I remember economic thinkers saying things like: once other countries reach a certain economic level, wages will move closer to those in the USA. Your study seems to refute that. But maybe China is realizing a significant gap in the curves of economic growth and wage and life style growth. The USA had a similar era. Perhaps Chinese society is heading toward a reconning of workers conditions and rights too.
Superbly written. Valuable information. I am impressed and better informed. Well done!
That’s very kind of you to say Sandra. Thank you 🙏

I look forward to the next release. This was very well written and with valuable insight.
Thank you Manda. I’m looking forward to brining my notes tomorrow morning over a cuppa. 🍵
Interesting, thought-provoking, but for the love of God, learn the difference between it’s and its.

Thanks Sarah
Thank you for providing factual and unbiased information without the fear factor. US and China are trading places on the world stage.
I try to be objective and strip out the tendency of many to fall into an adversarial approach. Just look at the facts and it all comes together.
