Of course words, discussions, articles, political commentaries are very important but keeping in mind the poor literacy and comprehension of complex issues an average American has, the pro-democracy messaging should be simple, addressing the daily needs of people in the language they immediately understand. Keeping it Simple and using concrete examples!
Bad news or not, at least it’s not lies. As someone of your generation I was raised with trusted news sources and anchors such as Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather. Having to “fact check” EVERYTHING is exhausting. Thank you for what you do!

You may not be able to move the dial by yourself but you are a key player in the larger movement to move the dial. Assuming this the most significant chess game ever played, the question is what is the plan for hobbling JD Vance in the future. It likely makes sense to work to weaken his future influence starting now.
I am troubled by the lack of volume in Democratic politics. It’s a bit like chess, controlling the center of the board gives the player more options, more strike potential. I sure would love to capture one of the pieces while they aren’t looking. It’s an obvious plutocracy in charge of the MAGA puppet universe; why not print trading cards for this plutocracy to make these shadows run from themselves… it’s writing like yours that hits the target in the face. I just turned 53 and I am coming unmoored in this era, and this plutocracy needs to be exposed and taught a lesson in humility. I created hypnotyping to level the literacy playing field and I need Democrats to start saying more and better words than they are today. You are the only one who can speak to this because you are doing it on your own with standard word processing; I want the hypnotyping superpower to bring all of us up to your level. Cheers.
Martin, for a long time you were appearing in my inbox but I didn’t recognize you so I didn’t open the email. Maybe out of curiosity, I opened your email a few weeks ago, and I am so glad that I did. Your writing is so refreshing and I consider you essential reading. I also just watched your Storm Coming video and and it is still inexplicable to me why so many people presumably voted against their self interest, if indeed the economy was as good as was being reported. Clearly, some voters were never going to vote democrat, but you have to wonder whether many others just didn’t experience the economy that was being reported. Again, thanks for your terrific writing/reporting.
Yes! The economy was good for people who had money. But for those of us making less than 50000 there really wasn't any felt changes. However, economy aside I at least recognized it was at least wholesome.Much much better than the alternative which is now.
I tried so hard to convince people what would happen and they either shrugged it off, deflected the conversation ("what about that laptop?"), or just laughed at me. But what's happening now is even worse than I thought or at least is happening much more quickly. I have to say I never thought it would be so accepted and normalized.

You are absolutely right about the fact that a large number of working class voters were not feeling the benefit of the growth in the economy and tragically Dems threw them under the bus in search of middle class votes. I have written about it at length.
These votes then found a home with Trump who was selling them on he would slash the cost of living, despite it being a lie.

On the point of Palantir, I have done deep research on the new contracts they have been given to aggregate data, Pakantir are not going to tell you what they are doing for the administration. As a data analyst and Simone who works with AI at a programmatic level every day. My assessment is well informed, just as my previous assessment of Project 2025 before Democrats even knew it existed.
I’ll be more than happy to circle back when events have played out. Republicans already have AI tools in place to challenge voter eligibility and roll purges. So I am more than happy to stand by my words.

Martin, they will never release the Epstein files as long as Trump is in office.
It will pass a long time to see them after he’s gone, and possibly dead. By then, no one would care anymore,
the public will be too disgusted about the subject.
There is no justice for the victims, nothing can bring them back, and the pain for their families will be avoided.
If they release something, it will be a fake version with no important names to be prosecuted.
Ghislane Maxwell will also lie about them as being the real ones and will get a pardon for that.
They have no shame at all in anything they do, and they do not care about the public opinion,
they have the power, at least for now.
I just hate injustice.
