Agree with you Martin. I’ve been just sick about the spectacle of those clowns in Congress going after Dr Fauci.

Thank you. I’m 78. I’ve been around a bit. I have never seen as much pure hate as when I was reading replies about Dr. Fauci on Substack. Statements that research could prove wrong. I commented and was overwhelmed by pure vitriol. Where did my USA go?

Ignorant, uneducated, bully Trump and his thugs try to exploit the misinformation or ignorance, as well as the greed of those who follow them.

The worst part is that here in America people are educated because they choose not to be well educated. There are good schools here in good universities, but people choose to engage in other things rather than cultivating themselves and exploiting their potential. I’m not talking about all Americans, of course, but I am definitely talking about those who choose to sit on the sofa and watch Fox and all that Trumpist media all day long without having the necessary education to discern facts from lies and examine the fake news that such media puts in front of their eyes.

It is that ignorance and their laziness what Trump and his thugs exploit. That is what convinces that audience that what they say is true. That is what makes those people stop vaccinating their kids and using masks, what makes them disparage those who have contributed to the improvement of our society. And Dr. Fauci has been this weeks target after having endured Trumpβ€˜s vindictive and malicious propaganda.

It is gratitude what we should feel for this individual who has fought to keep us healthy, and in many cases alive. But gratitude is a hot commodity in the America of today.

Thank you Truth Matters for highlighting the truth...a/k/a the demonstrable factual evidence about the phenomenal work Dr. Fauci has done throughout his career including the remarkable job he did in dealing with an emerging, then raging pandemic and protecting the vast majority of Americans from unchecked transmission and mortality from COVID.

Really makes you ashamed of our so-called legislators, who can’t pass any legislation that supports the American people, but find time to put on disgusting personal attacks on dedicated public servants.

Fauci is a true hero. The only people who rail against him come from Hillary’s, β€œBasket of Deplorables.”

The key to defeating Trump? Mass non-cooperation | Mark Engler and Paul Engler (2)

The following are excerpts from this article.

β€œThe extraordinary level of grassroots solidarity and creative resistance in anti-ICE protests in Minnesota has given people a new appreciation for the power that mass non-cooperation can have in resisting the Trump administration’s drive toward authoritarianism. And it has created an awareness of why such action is clearly needed.

Those immersed in social movements look at the process of change in a different way than political insiders do. Instead of subscribing to the monolithic view of power, they hold a social view of power, which understands that those in positions of authority are dependent upon the cooperation and support of the governed.

Now, as then, the list of methods is best seen as an invitation to creativity, reminding organizers they have many tools in their collective toolbox – each with distinctive properties and powers. The potential of civil resistance is not just in holding large demonstrations. It is in drawing from a vast array of strikes, boycotts, noncooperation tactics and artistic protest. And it is in coming up with innovative forms of creative resistance that may never have been seen before.”

Please: Resist. Stop cooperating. Stop spending. Stop the fascist takeover.

Theatrical is how I’d describe those hearings - Rand Paul was berating a man who has more brain in his little finger than RFK has in his entire cranium . …. I’m glad Dr. Fauci refused to play the game … it was all bad theater - and no one would be eligible for an Oscar . Why do these politicians waste our tax dollars with this BS ? Our country has soooo many problems and they waste their time and our tax money on this ? Rand Paul needs to get a real job .

Going back to aids research Fauchi exhilbitrd his true colors . You are not fooling anybody, Fauchi is as good s scientist as able to tell truth . Lock him up and then maybe we learn the truth I say

Are you OK there Mike?

My mother always taught me not to mock the afflicted, especially when they might be under the influence of narcotics.

As Nancy Reagan said β€˜Just say No’. I realise the Trump narcotics handed out free of charge to the intellectually challenged can blight people’s lives.

Just remember there is help out there. Stay safe Mike.
