I don't want to keep repeating the same truth, but it is still the truth. Once we are done being subjugated by these psychopaths, or the 1%, we will stand together as the 99% and take this world to it's new beginning. A world in which we finally get to choose our destiny. I'm patiently waiting. I would like to see it sooner than later to reduce suffering. I understand that people will have to get to a discomfort level that is so great that there is no other choice, but it will happen.
Perhaps we can pass something which allows us, the voters, or even Congress, to remove him from office or have a special vote or election which would remove him for "No confidence". Other countries do it. It keeps us from having to go through the impeachment process but accomplishes the same thing.

I am convinced that removing him from office would be best all around. The country deserves better and Trump doesn't really want to be there. Oh, yes, he likes the trappings, the title. Hail to the Chief playing for him, the pomp and the gilt, but he really doesn't want to be bothered with the work, the problems, the headaches. Let's give him what he wants...a retired President, ex-President forever (however long that might be). Ideally he would resign for health reasons, barring that the VP and the Cabinet could agree that he is no longer up to the task (as evidenced by his comment that he is bored by the Iran negotiations and by his selection of Bill Pulte to be Director of National Intelligence (insane!). It is time.
I was under this illusion for a long time, I am past it, I can no longer lie to myself, telling myself just removing this one orange pimple, will get rid of the entire mountain underneath. We need to look deeper at this system of control and who is really in control of it. I no longer believe one old previously bankrupt buffoon is in charge. He's a puppet for the system behind him. The system that has the money, and the power.
There is no question he is the frontman for a much bigger movement. However, the important thing is that a large proportion of his base are not Republicans, they are Trump fanboys. That is a critical aspect of the politics involved. Without the base, those pulling the strings have no strings to pull.
I want to ask a serious question to the people in this conversation. Do you really believe the system that controls us wants to be seen? They need faces that will spew their vile filth. Faces that can be easily thrown aside. Fall guys everywhere, and who is easier to control than someone with nothing to lose. Someone who could face jail, and who loves the trappings of life over all else?
Respectfully I now see things the way George Carlin did. It's 2 wings of the same bird. What have democrats done? Who is paying both sides of the isle? The entire extraction machine must be dismantled. Neither side is on the side of the PEOPLE. It's corporstists that want to keep the machine stable like it was, vs. Oligarchs who want, and pretty much do, make ALL the rules.
