Many will deal with you directly. And as Spring approaches, make plans to plant as much food as you can. Don’t have a garden space? Plant in containers. ALL the Ukranian people are heroes. They are fighting for their right to keep their country, and despite all the lives and destruction they trudge on. Zelinsky should not give Trump one ounce of his minerals. They have been fighting to keep them as much as everything else. Trump did not earn them, and he probably would take a big slice for himself since the SCOTUS doesn’t seem to mind.
We are fighting here for the same thing, although it has not gotten physical - yet. We have lots of heroes, but not an entire nation, like Ukraine. Our enemies are within and already taken over without a fight.
It is so wrong for USA to withdraw support in the middle of the war, especially when Ukraine was routing Russia.The MAGAt congress screwed Ukraine over for six months in 2024 by withholding funds which stalled their progress on the battlefield. It seems too many of our legislators are Putin fans. Putin is a murderous dictator and nothing more. How many more of his critics have to “fall out of windows”, die in suspicious car accidents, or be poisoned for MAGA to see him for what he is and what Trump wants to be?

Whether that's donating to Ukraine, lobbying Europe for a newly defined Democratic order (perhaps EU, Greenland, Canada) and to disband NATO, as we've known it. We're only constrained by our inertia and imagination! Perhaps Australia, New Zealand, Japan and other Democracies would rally as well. They are not feeling any safer, given this shift in global power. Even the UN with the Veto rights of five Nations, including the US and Rusia, needs to be rethought. If not now, when!
