My Jewish friends are among the kindest and most socially conscious people I know. Most of them are opposed to the attacks in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Iran. A proportional response to the October 7th attacks on Israel was one thing. Destroying Gaza and expanding their reign of terror is quite another. Past genocide doesn’t validated future genocide.

It is simply untrue that criticism of Israel is anti Semitic. When our friend gets drunk and asks for our car keys, we say no. Israel is drunk on revenge and we must stop supplying them with the equipment to hasten their own demise and ours. Real love must be willing to say NO.

The Zionist agenda is not the same as the Jewish religion. I think there are many Jews that feel their religion has been hijacked by these Zionist activists. This claim to the Palestinian land because of historical occupation by Solomon or whomever is not a legal argument- as you say if all nations operated under this premise, there would be unending claims of “ ownership “ by the Ottomans , the Native American Indians, the Romans etc . The UN created this nation state under the premise that borders be negotiated- which Israel/ Palestine / Syria has failed miserably to establish. The Zionists want it all- per the Greater Israel Plan. The UN needs to step up and draw the lines on the map … and settle this conflict once and for all.
